I asked a longtime friend, a former aviation student of mine who now flies for Southwest Airlines, to review the book I wrote knowing he would tell it to me straight. After telling me what he thought—he was very positive—I put him on the spot pressing him to hurt my feelings and asked, “What did you take away from ‘Lines Along the Wall’?” He immediately replied, “Never give up.” I knew it was time for my wife Kendal and I, to move forward with our passion, Moore Motivated.
My name is Dave Moore, and writing was never something that I thought was in my lines in life. Many hard experiences have brought me on this new journey of sharing with you the difficult circumstances I had to face, how I overcame them and the lessons I learned along the way.

On the front cover, you will see me standing in front of one of the planes I crashed. I was on the bottom in the right seat of that airplane, and yes, that is a new face the doc patched back on for me — well maybe newer, since the 16 year anniversary of that crash quickly approaches.
